How are you guys doing this? Is the core gonna be able to level up a efficient speed? Many guilds get distracted by the PvP brackets will the core be pushing on from this? I use to play Vanilla WoW and am looking for a guild in the EST zone as I have kids and a job. If this is something you will be doing I'd be interested in pushing your recruitment and helping in any means I can.
Since we are a casual guild I don't think there is a need to power level 24/7 to get to 60. But for those motivated by gold opportunities that is the best time to get a monopoly on items quickly. I wouldn't expect anything other than UBRS raid happening for a while.
As far as the PvP brackets go, I wouldn't pass them up. They are a good change of pace for an individual, sometimes grinding makes you tired and bored of the game. This fast paced PvP can change your mindset and keep you motivated to get back out to the grind.
While we won't be leveling with a set pace, we won't be stopping for any bracket. I'd like to think that a guild with a PvE focus can do both PvE and PvP, while a guild with a PvP focus struggles with PvE. That said, being a more casual guild, members can do whatever they want. I'll personally be doing BG's occasionally for fun, but that is all it will really be. Besides, most people I know only care about the 60 bracket. As we get closer to launch, and after some gametime, we'll have a much better idea of the interests of our members. Btw, "we" doesn't actually mean anything. Different people will play in different ways.
That said, I fully expect that some of our members may level up quite quickly. With a solid playerbase, we should have no issues with raids, although I'd recommend asking around if you want a team for a certain non-lv.60 bracket.
As for recruitment, I would love some help. Right now, I'm making rounds on the Elysium Discord, Nostalrius forums, and Elysium forums. I don't think that there is much more that can be done, but I'll definitely need help when the server is up.
